Thanks for your 1st draft.
I believe your class has submitted the 2nd draft by email/ blogs, so would you be so kind to update the revised version?
Btw, about these sentences of yours, here are some suggestions:
1. I had taken Cambridge A-level test once and I want to know if your department would accept it for scholarship or any other exception in following the foundation classes.
SIR: Is it true? Did you mean taking SAT I? So far, nobody has registered to take A Level Biology, eh?
2. Finally I want to express my gratitude to you and you can contact by email ...
SIR: Do not forget our lesson to replace the word "want to" with "would like to", and "can" with "could" for being polite in a formal letter like this.
